Pay Check · 1 of 5

Free. Companies pay us. You never do.

The hard part

You know the work. The job hunt is the problem.

Ads that say “competitive pay” and never tell you the number

Per diem “available,” with no amount and no days

Getting short-termed when the phase ends

A staffing outfit taking a cut of every hour you work

Getting stuck carrying green helpers all day

Your boss finding out you're looking

How it works

Three steps. No resume.

Anyone can see their number. The 10-minute call is for licensed, experienced hands.

1

Get your number

Tell us your trade, your card, your years in and your zip. See what hands like you get paid in your area, local and travel.

2

Talk 10 minutes

Someone from the trade calls you. We look up your license while you're on the phone.

3

One interview

With one company that meets the Wirehands Standard. If it's not right, we keep looking.

The Wirehands Standard

We only send our hands to companies that earn them.

We check in with every hire at day 7, 30 and 60. If the company doesn't do what it said, we place you again, free.

A company only gets our hands if it

  • Has 20 or more in the field on commercial or industrial work
  • Pays at or above the going rate, with rate, hours and per diem in writing before you start
  • Has the next job booked before this phase ends
  • Has a clean safety record

Our promises

What we promise you.

One company at a time

We never blast your name around. You hear about the company before they hear about you.

We never call your boss

Not now, not later. Your current job stays your business.

Pay in writing

Rate, hours and per diem in writing before you start. No surprises on your first check.

Say no anytime

Reply STOP and we're gone. No hard feelings, no follow-up calls.

We never sell your number

Your information goes to one company you said yes to, and nowhere else.

Free, always

Companies pay us. You never pay, you never sign anything with us.

How we make money

Companies pay us when you show up.

That's it. You never pay anything, you never sign anything with us, and we never take a cut of your check. You work for the company, on their payroll, with their benefits.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this a staffing company?

No. You're hired direct by the company. Their payroll, their benefits. We don't employ you and we never take a cut of your check.

Why is it free?

The company pays us when you show up to their interview. You never pay anything.

Do I have to take the job?

No. You can say no at any point. Reply STOP to any text and we're gone.

What if they lie about the pay?

The rate, hours and per diem are in writing before you start. If it changes, we place you somewhere else, free.

Will my boss find out?

No. We never contact your current employer.

Who calls me?

Someone from the trade, not a call center. The call takes about 10 minutes. We'll ask about the work you've done and look up your license while you're on the phone.

Do you sell my number?

No. Your name and number go to one company at a time, only after you say yes, and never to a list.

What trades do you place?

Electrical, HVAC, mechanical, pipefitting, plumbing, low voltage, controls and fire protection. Texas first.

I don't have my card yet. Can you help?

Yes. Tell us in the Pay Check and we'll point you to the next step: OSHA 10 and your TDLR apprentice license, and companies that train.

Free. About 60 seconds. We never sell your number.
